1.  APPLICATION

The IN647 and IN648 stainless steel round anchorage points
are designed to be anchorages which can be permanently
secured to a structure (i.e. side of a vessel) to which a
connection device or personal protective equipment can
be attached thus facilitating safe working at height.
The anchorage points have been subject to type testing and

They are appropriate for single person use with an energy
absorber to EN 355, and a fall arrester to EN 360.

Each time before use, the anchorage point should
be inspected to ensure that it is in good order.
Should the equipment be subjected to the forces of
arresting a fall, it should be removed from service
immediately and replaced.

3.  INSTALLATION & ORIENTATION

It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure the suitability of
base materials into which the structural anchor device is fi xed
and that it is capable of sustaining the test forces as detailed
in EN 795:2012, Class A.
The height of the anchor point must be carefully chosen
according to the work or inspections to be carried out.
The clearance, or pendulum movement, in the event of a fall
must be free of any obstruction.
Always check that this product is compatible with the other
components of your equipment.
