LOWERING THE LOAD:

With one hand, grasp the rope.

With the other hand, turn the release knob clockwise to allow the

rope to slip on the winch drum and permit a controlled descent.

To adjust descent speed, manually control the speed at which the

rope leaves the winch by holding rope with arm out and bringing

it in toward the winch drum.

To stop the descent, release the release knob.
