TO SERVICE THE HKSUB 12 SUBWOOFER
1) Remove
the
grille.
2) Extract (6) rubber grille retainers; this can be accomplished by carefully pulling them out of the cavities with long-nosed pliers or
similar tool.
3) Remove the (6) Phillips screws that are now exposed.
4) Remove the front baffle.
5) Remove the (8) screws that secure the woofer (the screws may have a small adhesive pad atop each screw – they will have to be
moved or removed); remove the woofer and unplug the wires from the terminals.
6) To service the amplifier, remove the (10) Phillips screws at the rear of the enclosure, and pull the amplifier out of the back.
