If starting after an empty hopper, turn
Feed Adjuster to "TEST"
(for one 60
second cycle).
This will purge pellets into
the auger tube and also allow you to check
the motors for operation.
NOTE: The auger
motor will not operate with the ash door
open.

Turn Feed Adjuster to #4.
If this is your first fire or you are trying
different pellets, set the feed adjuster to #4,
Fig. 50 This is a conservative number and
will probably need to be increased if maxi-
mum BTU output is desired. After you know
a feed rate setting that works well for your
application, use that setting. Remember, if
your feed rate is too high you may waste fuel
due to overshooting the Wall Control setting.
6.
Flip the Igniter Switch up
into the
"AUTO-LIGHT" position.
7.
Turn the Temperature Dial
on the wall
control to desired room temperature. Note:
The set temperature on the dial must be higher
than the room temperature for the fire to light.
