Bathroom fan

6.3 HT - FAN WITH HUMIDITY SENSOR AND TIMER

The fan equipped with an electronic humidistat can be adjusted in the range from 60% to 90% relative humidity and with timer, adjustable between 1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes. The desired humidity level, operating time and
additional functions are selected by 8 dip-switches placed on the printed circuit board. Each dip-switch has two positions: ON (1) and OFF (0) which are selected with a small screwdriver provided with the fan.
Please see Pict.7 Circuit board diagram with dip-switches on page 2.

Operation without the switch (automatic operation)

This method requires that the supply voltage be permanently connected only to the L and N terminals (in order to ensure the device standby). Please see Pict.8 Humidity sensor wiring diagram on page 2.
Connected and powered fan continuously monitors the humidity sensor. When the relative humidity level in the device exceeds the set threshold, the fan will turn on and will work until the humidity level drops to the set
level (-3%). Then will continue to run for the set time delay and turn off.

Operation with the switch (manual operation)

In this case, the same L phase should be connected to the LS terminal with the third wire through the switch (Pict.9 Wiring diagram humidity sensor system with switch on page 3). It is possible to start the fan when the set
relative humidity level is not exceeded. In the „ON” position, the supply voltage will be applied to the control input and the device will start work. After changing the position to „OFF”, fan will run for the set time delay and
then fan will turn off.  When the switch is not used, the fan operation will follow the paragraph Operation without the switch.

CAUTION!

When the humidity level exceeds the set threshold, the automatic option has priority over the manual and the device can not be turned off using the switch.

CAUTION!

Air supply to the room must be ensured. When the fan is not running (standby mode), the speed of the sensor’s response to a change in the humidity level in the room depends on the intensity

of the gravitational air flow through the fan.

6.3.1 ADJUSTING DIP-SWITCHES TO THE REQUIRED SETTINGS
Interval function

When the Interval function is on, the fan works regardless of humidity. This is useful to prevent the fan running continuously where humidity levels are constantly high. This function also allows the fan to run when
the humidity level is constantly low. The fan turns on automatically for an hour regardless of the humidity level, turns off for the interval set, then turns on again for an hour, etc.
Please see Pict.10 Interval function and Pict.11 Interval time setting on page 3.

Humidity function

When the relative humidity level in the device exceeds the set threshold, the fan will turn on and will work until the humidity level drops to the set level (-3%). Then will continue to run for the set time delay value and turn
off. Please see Pict.12 Humidity level and time delay settings on page 3.

Start-up timer function

Please see Pict.13 Start-up timer function on page 3.
When the start-up delay function is active, it causes a 50 second delay from turning on the fan with the external switch. If the activated mode (external switch) lasts less than 50 seconds, fan will not start.

7. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

The device is maintenance-free. It only requires periodic inspection and cleaning. Over time, dirt may appear on the rotor and housing. This leads to a reduction in performance, unbalance and a shortened service life of the
device.

Before starting work, disconnect the power supply (all poles) and make sure that unauthorized restarting will not be possible.

•

Disconnect the cables and protect against contact.

•

Disassemble the fan. Remove the louver, cover, rotor.

•

Remove accumulated dust and dirt with a soft cloth or brush.

•

If needed clean with a slightly damp cloth with the addition of a neutral detergent (test on invisible parts).

•

WARNING!

Never use water hotter than 50˚C, gasoline, benzene, thinner, any organic solvent or sharp tools for cleaning.

•

Do not allow water to enter the engine!

•

Do not wash components in dishwashers!

•

The bearings are maintenance-free and must not be lubricated.

•

Dry the cleaned parts by yourself or with a soft, dry cloth. Then reassemble the items in the reverse order.

•

Before reconnecting, make sure that the power supply is completely disconnected (all poles).

CAUTION!

Damaged device or components must be replaced with new ones. The fan must be repaired by an authorized service of the manufacturer. Do not repair or modify the device yourself. The warranty only

applies to the delivered configuration. In case of unauthorized modifications or repairs the manufacturer’s liability is no longer valid. A certified electrician must replace a damaged power cord.

8. DISASSEMBLY AND DISPOSAL

Before starting work, disconnect the power supply (all poles) and make sure that unauthorized restarting will not be possible.

Disconnect the cables and protect against contact. Disassemble the fan.

At the end of useful life, the device must not be disposed of with household waste. The device must be delivered to the appropriate waste disposal facility or dealers who provide a similar service. The segregation
of waste and electrical equipment prevents potential negative consequences for the environment and human health from inappropriate disposal, and allows the recycling of materials that can be recovered to
achieve significant energy and resource savings. The obligation to dispose separately is underlined by the symbol of a crossed-out litter bin placed on the product. Illegal disposal of the product by the user will
result in the application of administrative sanctions in accordance with applicable regulations.
