Boot drive
Top bay only

Power button/LED
This button/LED turns the unit On/Off. If a
power cord is attached to the unit and the
button is pressed, the LED flashes blue to
indicate the unit is transitioning. Once the unit
has fully powered up, the LED changes to solid
light blue.

LTC connector
Use to connect a LTC timecode source to the
MediaCenter. Note that the MediaCenter LTC
timecode will override the reference VITC
obtained from the MediaPort.

1 Gb Ethernet connector and
LEDs
Use for system management. Note that the
Ethernet card and LED type may vary from the
one show here. Refer to "1 Gb Ethernet port
status LEDs (for system management)" for a
description of the possible Ethernet cards and
possible LEDs

MediaPort Ethernet array
Use these ports only to connect to I/O modules,
such as a MediaPort. DO NOT use these
ports for any other purpose, including plugging
directly into a network.

Serial-attached SCSI (SAS)
connector(s)
Use to connect to a MediaStore 7200. One
SAS connector available with MediaCenter
2200B. Two SAS connectors available with the
2200B-DS model.

Power supplies (0, 1 from left
to right)
Two power supplies, each including an
independent AC connector, are located on the
left-hand side of the rear panel. If one supply
fails, the load is transferred to the remaining
supply without interruption to service. To take
full advantage of the redundant supplies, use
separate, isolated power sources for each AC
input.
