Restarting an I/O module
Restart an upgraded I/O module using SystemManager.
1. On the SystemManager
Upgrade Firmware
page, scroll to the I/O Modules section.
2. Select the I/O module(s) that you recently upgraded and then click the
Reboot
button. The
Reboot I/
O Modules Now
page appears.
3. Click
OK
to restart the selected I/O module(s), or click
Cancel
to exit the procedure safely
What to do next
NOTE:
You can restart your Spectrum video server while the I/O module(s) are still
restarting.
Restarting a Spectrum video server
Restart an upgraded Spectrum video server using SystemManager.
1. On the SystemManager
Upgrade Firmware
page, scroll to the Spectrum servers section.
2. Select the Spectrum video servers that you recently upgraded and then click the
Reboot
button. The
Reboot Spectrum Servers Now
page appears.
3. Click
OK
to restart the selected Spectrum video servers, or click
Cancel
to exit the procedure safely
Verifying disk drive firmware
You may verify disk drive firmware from the
Disk Utilities
page in SystemManager.
1. Go to the
Disk Utilities
page for any of the connected Spectrum video servers.
2. Click the
Upgrade Disk Firmware
button.
3. Compare the
Firmware Rev. Level
and
New Firmware Available
columns for each drive.
Upgrading disk drive firmware
In some cases, you may need to upgrade disk drive firmware. Note that all disk drives in a RAID set must
be running the same firmware version.
