H Installation and Operation Manual
Chapter 4: CCS Operation
If you have multiple QSEE6800
+
modules, you must ensure that each
module has an unique Multicast IP address. This is done using the
Multicast IP
parameter on the
Stream
tab of the module’s
Control
window.
Figure 4-4.

Control Window Stream Tab
Any IP address from 224.0.1.0 to 239.255.255.255 is treated as a valid
multicast address input.
The
Multicast TTL
(Time-to-live) parameter determines how many
network switches can exist between your device (in this case a
QSEE6800
+
module) and your client. Normally you should leave this
setting at its default.
Selecting an MPEG-4 Source
With the QSEE6800
+
HS option, you can monitor audio meters and
video for any one of the eight inputs at 30 frames per second, while
simultaneously monitoring the eight thumbnail inputs.
Select the MPEG-4 input using the
MPEG4 Video Source
parameter.
MPEG-4 stream is optional;
see your sales representative
for more information.
Without the streaming option,
a grey box will appear.
