Chapter 3: Card-Edge and Parameter Operation
A Global Alarm Priority can be set for the QSEE6800
+
H module, and
for each input to the module. (With Pilot or Navigator in Build mode,
right click on the module or input and choose
Configuration
. The
Report Alarms with Priority Greater Than:
setting is on the
Device
tab.) If an alarm’s priority is at or above this setting, that alarm displays
when it is triggered.
Some alarms also have an associated tolerance parameter, for adjusting
the level above or below which an alarm is triggered.
Each alarm has an option for acknowledgement, so you can let other
users on the network know that the alarm situation has been addressed.
When an SQM alarm appears in the QSEE6800
+
H, the card-edge
Module Status LED will turn red. SQM alarm names, thresholds, and
other controls appear in Pilot and Navigator software only.
SQM alarms are divided into three groups:
•
H SDI Video Alarms” on page 37
•
H SDI Embedded Audio Alarms” on page 39
•
Unless otherwise indicated, the settings in
can be made for
each SQM alarm within Pilot or Navigator software.
