2.0 INSTALLATION

2.1 Delivery Inspection and
Unpacking System

Haskris OPC product is shipped in a
wooden crate. Upon delivery, visually
inspect the crate for any obvious damage.
If damage is found, and there is reason to
believe the system was mishandled, note
the damage in detail on the delivery
receipt. We recommend taking
photographs if possible. Contact the
delivering carrier immediately to file a
claim. All shipping containers and
packaging materials should be retained to
help substantiate the claim. We also ask
that you call Haskris if the damaged
occurred in shipment. We will assist in
rectifying the situation.

Remove crate and unbolt from skid. Use
the fork pockets to remove chiller from
skid, ensure forks are fully past the chiller
center point.

2.2 System Location

The Haskris OPC system is designed for
outdoor use.

Position the system

allowing 36” clearance

all around for clear access to all removable
panels, top panels, front panels, where
controls, indicators and readouts are
located. Access to the side panels is
required to fill the reservoir or to perform
maintenance and repair procedures. Mount
chiller to concrete pad or roof curb allowing
36” clearance all around. If a level
perimeter roof curb is used materials of
construction, thickness and any additional
supports / bracing should be specified by
the Engineer selecting the roof curb.
Secure chiller to pad or roof curb using
mount holes on chiller. Consult local codes
for proper anchoring methods. A center
support may be required, contact Haskris
for instructions.

Air-Cooled Systems:

 For systems with

air-cooled condensers:

Acceptable ambient air temperatures are
shown in Table 1.

Provide sufficient

clearance to allow for free air movement
across the condenser(s). A lack of
cool/fresh air to the condenser will result in
reduced cooling capacity, and possibly the
complete shutdown of the refrigeration
compressor.

Avoid dusty areas, and periodically check
to make sure that the condenser is clean.
