Setting Media Widths for the Machine
When the printhead smears the font, or with especially thick print objects (e.g.
newspapers), the gap must be increased between the printhead and the print ob-
ject.

Setting the Printing Unit to the Media width
You can set the printhead gap in two different ways.
For an unknown print object thickness
1.
Turn the knob (1) to the “5” for the greatest distance (see

Lay the print object (3) between the transport rollers (2).
