Designed for use by utility personnel who require
a simple and, fast means of current measurement
on power lines which cannot be reached with a
conventional clip-on ammeter, or are carrying
high potentials. The load spotter is attached to the
universal head of a hot-line stick and slipped over
the live conductor. The range of conductors is
from 1/2 inch to 2 inches.
Two modes of operation are possible;
FREE RUN
which continuously displays the instantaneous
current value, or
PEAK HOLD
which retains
the highest reading obtained if the instrument
is positioned with the display out of view.
