Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters
Heated Glass merchandisers are supplied with up to two,
built-in Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI). GFCIs are
designed to turn off electrical power and help prevent damage
to the internal components when there is a short circuit or
electrical fault.
To reset a GFCI:
1. make sure the unit is plugged in and all ON/OFF switches
are in the ON position.
2. Push the reset button.
NOTE: The unit must be plugged in and turned on for the GFCI
to reset. If the unit is off, the GFCI will not reset.
If a GFCI continues to trip, contact an authorized Hatco Service
agency.

Replacing a Display Light
The unit is equipped with fluorescent lamps that illuminate the
warming area. These lamps have a special coating to guard
against injury and food contamination in the event of breakage.
Use Hatco P/N 02.30.134.00 when replacing a lamp.
Use only fluorescent lamps that meet or exceed National
Sanitation Foundation (NSF) standards and are specifically
designed for food holding areas. Breakage of fluorescent
lamps not specially protected could result in personal
injury and/or food contamination.
Use the following procedure to replace a fluorescent lamp.
1. Turn off the unit, unplug the power cords, and allow the unit
to cool.
2. Carefully twist the fluorescent lamp and pull down to
remove it from the sockets on each end.
3. align the tabs on each end of the new fluorescent lamp with
the channels on each socket, and push the lamp up into
the sockets.
4. Carefully twist the fluorescent lamp in the sockets until it
“snaps” into position.
