FUEL SELECTOR 

in 

center position. 

Observe the display EXCEED and 
OUT indicators on the HIGH TEMP 
LIMIT instrument.  “OPEN” indicates 
an open thermocouple.  Press the 
RESET key on the instrument to reset 
the high limit contact. 

Verify that either 

OIL

 or 

GAS

 fuel is 

selected 

Flame meter indicates 
presence of flame when 
burner is shut off. 

Fire in dryer drum. 

Poor flame meter 
connection. 

Defective scanner. 

Check for fire in drum. 

Check flame meter connections. 

Unplug 3TR relay.  If signal disappears 
replace pilot scanner.  If signal remains 
replace main flame scanner. 

Flame relay
