OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Using the trimmer
The handle is designed with a safety button to prevent accidental starting.
To start the trimmer:
Press and hold the safety button located on either side of the handle, then press the
trigger.
Continue holding the trigger and release the safety button. The trimmer will be on for
as long as the trigger is pressed.
To stop the trimmer:
Release the trigger to stop the trimmer.
Cutting and edging
If this happens during normal operation refer to the section on battery charging.
PLEASE NOTE -
When the battery is running low a cut out mechanism will stop the
product from working.
This is to protect the Li-Ion battery from running completely flat, and will maintain the
battery life.
Hold the trimmer away from the body using both hands. Stand in a secure and
stable position. When cutting move slowly and steadily along the line of cut, moving
the trimmer from side to side.
Take care not to overload the trimmer. Attempting to force the trimmer to cut may
damage the motor. To prevent overloading cut long or difficult foliage in stages with
several light cuts.
WARNING!
The blade continues to rotate for a few seconds after the trimmer is
switched off.
Do not touch the rotating blade, and keep hands and feet clear until the blade stops
rotating.
CAUTION:
Remove any stones, loose debris and other objects from cutting area.
Always take care when other people are around you. The trimmer may throw out stones
and debris at high speed.
