We strongly recommend not to modify and/or use this tool for any application other
than that for which it was designed. If you have any questions relative to its
application, do not use the tool until you have contacted us.
Please read this manual carefully prior to operating the blower. It contains
important safety, maintenance and operating instructions. Read these instructions
thoroughly even if you are already familiar with blower use.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
OPERATOR SAFETY
Special safety precautions must be taken to reduce the
risk of personal injury.
WARNING!
When using this tool, basic safety precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury.
- Do not operate the blower when you are tired, ill or under the influence of
medication, alcohol or drugs. Do not operate the blower if you are fatigued.
- Always wear a safety face shield or goggles that meet ANSI Z87.1 requirements.
- Always wear safety protective equipment such as snug fitting clothing (jacket,
pants) gloves, boots with steel toe caps and non-slip soles. Blower chaps add
a layer of safety. Do not wear shorts, loose clothing, scarves, jewelry, sandals, or
go barefoot. Loose clothing may become tangled in the blower.
- Wear hearing protection. Hearing damage is cumulative with the use of power tools.
- To reduce the risk of injury associated with thrown objects:
1) Always wear eye protection and foot protection. Eye protection should meet
the requirements of ANSI Z87,1.
2) Do not allow bystanders in work area.
3) Do not point the blower nozzle in the direction of people or pets.
- To reduce the risk of injury associated with objects being drawn into rotating
parts, do not wear loose clothing, scarves, neck chains, unconfined long hair,
and the like.
