1. Turning the trimmer ON (see Fig 19)
Plug the trimmer in an AC power outlet. Press
the lock-off button (1) and then depress either
of the ON/OFF switches (2). The trimmer
will stay on as long as the ON/OFF switch is
depressed.
2. Turning the trimmer OFF
To turn the trimmer OFF, release the ON/OFF
switch. Allow at least 5 seconds for the cutting
head to stop rotating.
Do not invert the trimmer or place hands under
the guard before the cutting head has come to
a complete stop.

3. One-hand operation (see fig 20, 21 and
22)
The extendable arm support and the under
guard roller support make it convenient to
operate the trimmer with just one hand.
1)Pull the arm support to the desired length
(see fig 8).
2)Adjust the main handle to the 90° right angle
position (see fig 10 and 11).
3)Allow your elbow to rest on the arm support
while holding the main handle. Rest the
trimmer on the support roller.
4)Adjust the cutting angle to a comfortable
position (see fig 9)

When using the trimmer in “one-hand
operation” never allow the roller to lose contact
with the ground, as this might cause a loss of
control which could result in serious injury.
