REPLACING Drain Pan Heater — 
  Electric and Gas Defrost

    (Low Temperature Only )

The drain pan heater is located as shown below. 

Remove Drain Pan Heater

  1.  Disconnect power.

  2.  Pull heater out from under heater clips.

  3.  Position new heater under heater clips. Be sure 

offset is properly positioned around the drain. 

  4.  Reconnect power.

  5.  Verify that heater is working correctly.

Always disconnect the electrical power 

at the main disconnect when servicing or 

replacing any electrical component. This 

includes, but is not limited to, such items 

as fans, heaters, thermostats and lights.
