GENERATORS OUT OF BALANCE
BUS TIE ........................ OPEN
GEN 1 and
GEN 2 AMPS ................ Check each less than
limit (300 AMPS).
PS 1 and PS 2 volts ...... Check each within 24.5
to 29.5 volts.
IF GENERATORS DIFFER BY
IF CURRENTS AND VOLTAGES
BUS TIE........................ CLOSE
Shed non-essential loads on the abnormal side.
If the current cannot be reduced below the limit:
GEN (affected side)........................... TRIP
Fuel pump (affected side) ................. EMERG
NOTE:
Do not CLOSE the BUS TIE
IF AN ABNORMALITY IS OBSERVED
MORE THAN 40 AMPS
ARE NORMAL
ONE GENERATOR CURRENT
IS ABOVE LIMIT (300 AMPS)
ONE BUSBAR VOLTAGE IS NOT
BETWEEN 24.5 TO 29.5 VOLTS
GEN (affected side) .................. TRIP
BUS TIE .................................... CLOSE
BATTERY CONTACTOR
No In-Flight Action
Illumination indicates the applicable battery is no longer charging or the Emergency
Contactor has opened.
