Device does not
turn on
1. Battery is dead.
2. Device is still
plugged in.

“Locked”.
4. Light on back of
unit is flashing
red.
5. Light on back of
unit is alternating
flashing red and
green.
1. Charge battery.
2. Unplug the device. As a safety
measure, the device is designed to
operate only when unplugged.
3. Move to “Unlocked” position.
4. a. Battery is drawing too much
current. This can be caused by
the fan being blocked. If blocked,
remove blockage. If not blocked,
contact customer service.
b. Battery is over-discharged.
Plug in the device to recharge the
batteries.
5. Battery temperature is too hot/
cold to operate. Let the device
sit at room temperature to allow
the batteries to reach normal
temperatures.
Device does not charge
(or charges slow)
1. Light on back of
unit is alternating
flashing red and
green.
2. After two hours,
device still not
fully charged.
3. Device will not
charge and/or
does not hold
charge.
1. Battery temperature is slightly
above optimum charging
temperature; keep charger
plugged in; unit will charge
automatically once optimum
charging temperature is reached.
2. If the device has been unused for
a long period of time, the device
will slowly charge initially in order
to maintain battery life. Once
it reaches a safe voltage, it will
charge as designed.
3. a. Device temperature is
abnormally above optimum
charging temperature; allow
device to rest unplugged for 2
hours.
b. Battery/device is defective.
