DIVA T/A ISDN Modem User’s Guide 113
Dumping the DIVA T/A Memory
If a software fault condition occurs while you are using the DIVA
T/A, you need to capture a memory dump of the DIVA T/A. The
following events are symptomatic of a software fault condition:
•
all connections are dropped
•
FAULT LED is on
•
the DIVA T/A does not respond to AT commands, even after exiting
and restarting the terminal-emulation program
Follow the steps below to obtain a DIVA T/A dump:
1
If the DIVA T/A is responding to AT commands go to step 2;
otherwise do one of the following:
•
If the Fault LED is off, reset the box, then go to step 2.
•
If the Fault LED is on, reset the PC, then go to step 2.
2
Type AT$Z, and press Enter.
3
Type at@dump (this command is case sensitive) and press Enter.
The system responds with the following display:
Please start XMODEM reception of dump file
4
Use the XMODEM or 1K-Xmodem (faster) transfer protocol
built into your terminal-emulation program to receive the dump
file. After the transfer is complete, a message similar to the
following is displayed:
Dump completed (539104 bytes sent)
If the transfer appears complete but no message is displayed,
press Enter until the message is displayed.
5
Type AT and press Enter, then type at@quit (this command is
case sensitive) and press Enter again to restart your DIVA T/A.
