12.1 Installing drivers
Drivers, for USB peripherals, for example, can be in
stalled at any time. Although the installation of other soft
ware packages is also possible in principle, we do not
recommend this on a large scale, in order not to endan
ger the stability of the CX22B‒R Data Recorder. If addi
tional software is installed, the functionality of the
CX22B‒R Data Recorder can no longer be guaranteed
and HBM can no longer provide support for any faults
arising in this connection.
In practice, drivers have already been successfully in
stalled and operated for the following terminal equipment:
touchscreen (plus touch keyboard), camera (e.g. Log
itech), GPS (Navilock), FTP service (TurboFTP with Au
toStart and transfer of DAQ files to a central cloud
server, Winscp, GoodSync, allwaysync, watchDirectory
Professional).
Tip
Should you be prompted to insert the Windows CD when
you are installing a driver, let Windows search for the
files it needs in the directory
C:\Windows\System32\drivers.
