If the speed or incline setting is too high or too low
at any time during the workout, you can manu-
ally override the setting by pressing the Speed or
Incline buttons;
however, when the next segment
of the workout begins, the treadmill will auto-
matically adjust to the speed and incline set-
tings for the next segment.
To stop the workout at any time, press the Stop
button. The time will begin to flash in the display.
To resume the workout, press the Start button or
the Speed increase button. The walking belt will
begin to move at 2 Km/H. When the next segment
of the workout begins, the treadmill will automati-
cally adjust to the speed and incline settings for the
next segment.

See step 5 on page 22. If you select an onboard
workout, the display will show the time remaining
instead of the elapsed time.

6. Turn on the fan if desired.

key from the console.

HOW TO USE A SET-A-GOAL WORKOUT
1. Insert the key into the console.
See HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER on page 21.
2. Set a calories, distance, time, or pulse goal.
First, press the Set A Goal button.
Next, press the increase and decrease buttons
next to the Enter button to scroll through the goal
workouts. Press the Enter button to select the
desired type of goal workout.
Then, press the increase and decrease buttons
next to the Enter button to adjust the goal. Press
the Enter button to set the goal.
3. Start the workout.
Press the Start button to start the workout. A
moment after you press the button, the walking belt
will begin to move. Hold the handrails and begin
walking.
The workout will function in the same way as the
manual mode (see pages 21 to 23).
The workout will continue until you reach the goal
that you set. The walking belt will then slow to a
stop.
Note: The calorie goal is an estimate of the
number of calories that you will burn during the
workout. The actual number of calories that you
burn will depend on various factors such as
your weight.
