ceiling/wall in accordance with the installation instructions.

Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat such as
sunshine, fire or similar.

Do not paint or cover the smoke alarm.

The smoke alarm test button accurately tests smoke alarm
functions. Do not use any other test method. Test smoke alarm
weekly to ensure proper operation.

To install this alarm, you must follow and comply with local and
national regulations.

EchoAlert® system, including smoke alarm may not alert every
household member. The alarm horn is loud and pager’s flash
and
vibration powerful. However, there may be some circumstances
where a persons may not hear, see or feel the alarm. To minimise
risk of that please perform regular test.

This smoke alarm can only detect smoke and combustion particles
in the air. It does not detect flames or gases. This smoke alarm is
designed to give audible warning when smoke detected. However,
many fires are fast- burning, explosive or intentional, and others
are caused by carelessness or safety hazard. In such
circumstances, smoke may cannot be detected quickly enough to
ensure safe escape.
Therefore, the installation of smoke alarms is
not a substitute for practising fire safety in the home
.
