1⁄2" & 3⁄4" Standard Press Tool Instructions
Single Stage Press; 11305 & 11322.
{
{
Regularly check tool jaws and sleeve
for any abnormalities that could be an
indication of a damaged tool.
{
{
If the Stainless Steel Sleeve is damaged or
pressed incorrectly, both the fitting and the
sleeve must be replaced.
{
{
The stainless steel press sleeve must
be completely pressed only one time. If
pressed more than once it is necessary to
cut out the fitting, and replace with new
sleeves and fitting.
{
{
Never reuse stainless steel press sleeves.
1. Open the tool jaws and center them over the stainless steel sleeve.
2. Close jaws completely to finalize the
connection. The jaws can be removed
over the pressed sleeve.
3. A properly positioned tool results in an accurate press: inspect the connection to
ensure the tubing is still seated in the sleeve (only PEX is visible in the sight hole), and
that the press has been properly formed onto the sleeve. An improperly positioned
tool may result in a poor press and a damaged fitting.
