For your child’s safety and health

WARNING!

Always use this product with adult supervision • Never use feeding teats as a soother • Continuous and prolonged sucking

of fluids will cause tooth decay • Always check food temperature before feeding • Keep all components not in use out of

the reach of children • Before first use, clean the product • Inspect before each use and pull the feeding teat in all

directions. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness • Do not leave a feeding teat in direct sunlight or heat, or

leave in disinfectant (“sterilising solution”) for longer than recommended as this may weaken the teat • Before first use

place in boiling water for 5 minutes. This is to ensure hygiene • Clean before each use • Dishwasher safe (top rack only) –

Food colouring, milk or oil residue that undergo heating processes may stain or discolour parts permanently • Do not warm

contents in a microwave as this may cause uneven heating and  could scald your baby • Do not use in a heated oven or

microwave. Always stir heated food to ensure even heat distribution and test the temperature before the serving • This is

not a toy • Do not allow child to play with small parts or walk/run while using bottles or cups • Never attach to cords,

ribbons, laces or loose parts of clothing. The child may be strangled • Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents as

these may cause damage • Do not place components directly on surfaces that have been cleaned with anti-bacterial

cleaners • Plastic materials may be affected by high temperatures and sterilising. This can affect the fitting and aesthetics

of the product • Proper assembly is necessary to ensure a leak free seal • Expressed breast milk can be stored in sterilised

Hegen feeding bottles/breast milk storage in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours (not in the door) and in the freezer for 3-6

months • Never refreeze breast milk or add fresh breast milk to already chilled/frozen milk.

Cleaning:

Always wash your hands with soap before cleaning, sterilising and feeding.  • Before first use, dissemble all parts of the

product, wash with bottle detergent and rinse in clean water thoroughly before sterilising. This is to ensure hygiene. Always

take all components apart and wash the product with bottle detergent immediately after each use • When using a

dishwasher (top rack only), avoid high-heat settings like “sanitary clean” or “heat boost” which may distort components. Do

not use chemically aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, solvents or anti-bacterial cleaners as these can damage the

product • Take extra care when cleaning the ANTI-COLIC AIR VENT in teat • Gentle rub clean the ANTI-COLIC AIR VENT

and teat opening with fingers in warm water (See Image 9). As the teat is delicate, aggressive handling may cause the

ANTI-COLIC AIR VENT to split, which can cause leaks • Do not use a teat brush or any other implement to clean the

ANTI-COLIC AIR VENT in teat which may damage it • Cleaning the product with a wired bottle brush may cause scratches

• Remember to clean all sides as well as the base and covers of the bottles • Do not turn the teat inside out for cleaning.

Damage could result.

Sterilising:

Suitable for sterilising by steam (electric), boiling water or cold water tablet/liquid solution. Should you choose to sterilise

by an electric steam steriliser, the sterilising instructions of the sterilisation devices should be carefully observed. For

boiling: Bring the water to boil, submerge components in boiling water for no more than 3 minutes. For sterilisation, all

components should be completely taken apart to avoid different reactions of materials which can cause deformation.

Ensure sufficient boiling water for sterilising. Avoid having product in prolonged contact with the bottom or edges of the

pot to prevent deformities to the shape of product. All grease or oil residue should be thoroughly removed before sterilising

to avoid permanent staining of parts. Chemical sterlisation or the use of hand cream and/or sun cream may cause the print

to fade.

Assembly:

Proper assembly is required to ensure a leak-free experience. Gently squeeze the ANTI-COLIC AIR VENT to ensure it is

open. 1)Match the position of the ANTI-COLIC AIR VENT to the higher face of the collar with the Hegen logo. 2)Pull the teat

through the collar until it is snugly fitted. Note: If you are able to pull the entire teat outwards through the collar, it is

improperly assembled. 3a)Place the transparent cover onto the assembled collar and teat. 3b)Tilt transparent cover

backwards to open (do not pull upwards).  4)Hold the assembled cover, teat and collar and Press-to-Close onto the bottle.

5)To tighten, turn in clockwise direction. 6)Twist-to-Open in anti-clockwise direction. 7)Convert bottle to breast milk storage

by swapping to a Hegen Breast Milk Storage lid. 8)Ensure lids are assembled with removable seal (Hegen logo facing

outwards) to ensure air-tight storage.
