Apply some film cleaner, oil or gel to
the original. The amount used depends
on the size of the original
(experimental value).

Fold and press the mounting foil onto
the original.

Remove any air bubbles by smoothing
over the original with your fingers from
the middle to the edges. By doing this,
you spread the liquid.

Insert the tray into the scanner.
