Configuring an interface
In the product settings you configure the interface for data transfer to the
computer.

The following settings are sent through the RS-232 adapter,
and can be adapted as needed for the receiver software:
Baud rate
Data bits
Parity
Stop bits
Flow control
Selecting a data format
By assigning a data format to the functions for the measured value output, you
specify the format in which the measured values will be sent to the computer. For
this purpose, you can use the
Standard
and
Steinwald
data formats, or create your
own data format (see "Creating your own data format", Page 146).

In the

drop-down list, select the type of interface
In the following drop-down lists you can choose a
separate data format for each function:
Data format for data transfer
Data format for touch-probe-triggered data
transfer
Data format for continuous data transfer
Data format for switching-function-triggered
data transfer
Each drop-down list contains the data formats
Standard
,
Steinwald
,
MyFormat1
, and all self-created
data formats.
In order to assign a data format to a function, select the
desired data format in the respective drop-down list
