Creating a new directory
Move the highlight in the left window to the directory in which
you want to create a subdirectory
Press the
NEW DIRECTORY
soft key
Enter a directory name
Press the
ENT
key
Press the
OK
soft key to confirm or
Press the
CANCEL
soft key to abort
Create new file
Select the directory in the left window in which you wish to
create the new file
Position the cursor in the right window
Press the
NEW FILE
soft key
Enter the file name with extension
Press the
ENT
key
Copying a single file
Move the cursor to the file you wish to copy
Press the
COPY
soft key to select the copying
function. The TNC opens a pop-up window
Copying files into the current directory
Enter the name of the destination file.
Press the
ENT
key or
OK
soft key: The TNC copies
the file into the current directory. The original file is
retained.
Copying files into another directory
Press the
TARGET DIRECTORY
soft key to select
the target directory from a pop-up window
Press the
ENT
key or
OK
soft key: The TNC copies
the file with the same name into the chosen
directory. The original file is retained.
When you start the copying process with
ENT
or the
OK
soft key, the TNC displays a pop-up window with
a progress indicator.
