Checking and changing Q parameters
Procedure
You can check Q parameters in all operating modes, and also edit
them.
If you are in a program run, interrupt it if required (e.g. by
pressing the
NC STOP
key and the
INTERNAL STOP
soft key) or
stop the test run
To call the Q parameter functions, press the
Q
INFO
soft key or the
Q
key
The TNC lists all parameters and their current
values. Use the arrow keys or the
GOTO
key to
select the desired parameter.
If you would like to change the value, press the
EDIT CURRENT FIELD
soft key. Enter a new file
name and confirm with
ENT
To leave the value unchanged, press the
PRESENT
VALUE
soft key or end the dialog with the
END
key
The parameters used by the TNC internally or in
cycles are provided with comments.
If you want to check or edit local, global or string
parameters, press the
SHOW PARAMETERS Q QL
QR QS
soft key. The TNC then displays the specific
parameter type. The functions previously described
also apply.
