Spindle speed S, feed rate F and
miscellaneous function M
Application
In the
Manual operation
and
Electronic handwheel
operating
modes, you can enter the spindle speed S, feed rate F and the
miscellaneous functions M with soft keys.
"Enter miscellaneous functions M and STOP",
The machine tool builder determines which
miscellaneous functions M are available on your
control and what effects they have.
Entering values
Spindle speed S, miscellaneous function M
Select input for spindle speed: press the
S
soft key
SPINDLE SPEED S=
Enter
1000
(spindle speed) and load with the
NC
START
key
The spindle speed with the entered speed
S
is started with a
miscellaneous function
M
. Input a miscellaneous function
M
in the
same way.
Feed rate F
After entering a feed rate
F
, confirm your entry with the
ENT
key.
The following is valid for feed rate F:
If you enter F=0, then the lowest feed rate from the machine
parameter
manualFeed
(no. 400304) takes effect
If the feed rate entered exceeds the value defined in the
machine parameter
maxFeed
(no. 400302) then the parameter
value in the machine parameter takes effect
F is not lost during a power interruption
The control displays the feed rate.
When
3D ROT
is active the machining feed rate is shown if
several axes are moved
If
3D ROT
is not active, the feed drive display remains empty
if several axes are moved
