OPERATIONS

Using your Water Cooler:

1.  Remove Filter Cartridge from plastic; make sure not to lose the Filter Cartridge O-Ring. Immerse Filter

Cartridge in ambient water for 20 minutes. Shake filter underwater to remove any excess black carbon
particles and trapped air.

2.  Before plugging unit in, it is recommended that the filter bottle parts (except Filter Cartridge) is washed

with warm water and detergent and is rinsed thoroughly.

3.  Ensure Drain Plug (underneath unit) is secure on the unit and tighten in place.
4.  Place Unfiltered Water Chamber into the Filtered Water Chamber.
5.  Place Filter Cartridge into the Filtered Water Chamber. Make sure Filter Cartridge is firmly in place.
6.  Place lid on top of filter bottle.
7.

Turn the switch to “ON” at the back of the unit.

8.  Pour water into the Unfiltered Water Chamber; allow water to filter through to the Filtered Water

Chamber.

9.  Once the Filtered Water Chamber is full of water, push and hold the tap down until water runs out of the

tap.

10. Once the unit is set up and plugged into mains power, the indicator light will turn red when the unit is in

cooling mode. When cooling is complete the indicator light will turn blue.

Replacing the filter:

1. Removing the old filter:

Switch off and unplug the appliance.

Ensure the top tank is empty

Remove and discard the old filter.

If O-ring seal remains inside the appliance remove and discard it.

2. Installing the new filter:

Wet the new O-ring seals located at the middle of the filter and fit the filter into place.

Fill the water tank and plug the appliance into the power outlet.

Flush the filter as explained above.

NOTE:

You may see small amounts of black particles at times; these are small pieces of Carbon from the

filter. These carbon particles are food grade and are not harmful. They will not impair the performance of
your filter or unit.

NOTE:

Water flow rate is dependent on the volume of water in the filter bottle. For optimum flow rate, keep

filter bottle full of water. First filtration will take longer than subsequent.

NOTE:

If the appliance has not been used for more than two weeks, flush the filter before use.

NOTE: If the filter and unit will not be used for a long period of time. Unplug the unit from the wall
socket. Remove the filter bottle from the unit and clean with warm soapy water. Flush the water
cooler-drain all water from the taps and via the drain plug and dry the unit.
