5 Start up
5.4 Handling, when the Cartridge is Empty
Signal “Cartridge empty” appears. The error message is displayed in the digital display
of the controller and signaled with a beeping tone. The air supply of the dispenser is
switched off.

Switch the hand lever valve

Open the shell and change the cartridge.
•
Close shell.
•
Close both tension jacks and switch the hand lever valve

to position .

Switch the hand lever valve

to position . Cylinder retracts in base position.
6 Care, Cleaning and Maintenance
The piston rod of the cylinder should always be kept free of contamination. For cleaning
you can use LOCTITE
®
7061. After cleaning lubricate the piston rod again with silicone
grease LOCTITE
®
8104 or out of the supplied sample.
Cleaning
– Do not use metal tools for cleaning. Contact with metal can cause unwanted curing.
– When changing the type of product, renew the product feed lines. Clean the product
adapter.

If chemical products are not properly handled, damage to health can result!
Observe general safety regulations for the handling of chemicals!
Maintenance
The O-rings of the cartridge adapter
shown in the right graphic should be
changed every 6 month as preventive
maintenance or after cleaning these
parts. O-ring specifications see
section 8.1.
