"  X 1" barbed adaptors into the fittings in the bottom

of the spiller.

NOTE: To prevent chipping or other damage, protect the back of the spiller by cushioning it with a piece of burlap or other
suitable material before laying it on a hard surface.

6.  Connect three pieces of 48" X 1" pieces of NKT (No Kink Tubing) to the three barbed adaptors and secure each with a

hose clamp to the adaptor.

7.  This next step is best accomplished with at least three people, two to lift and place the 5887 Top Spiller on the Second

Rock Spiller and one to guide the three pieces of NKT through the Second and Third Rock Spillers and into the
Bottom Base.

NOTE: there are passages through the Second and Third Rock Spillers that accommodate the NKT, be certain the tubing
passes through these and is not twisted or kinked as it is installed. For best flow and water action it will be necessary to
locate these three pieces of NKT in relation to the pump in the next step. It will be easier to do this if you identify each
piece of tubing before you feed them through the two middle spillers.

8.  Locate the pump in the Bottom Basin and feed the power cord over the back wall through the space provided.

9.  Connect the 10" piece of NKT to the pump outlet in secure it with a hopes clamp.

10.  Connect one of the 1" barbed “T” fittings to the end of the hose you just connected to the pump and secure with a

hose clamp.

11.  Add a flow restrictor to each of the three 36" X 1" pieces of NKT that feed the water spills in the Top Spiller

approximately 2" from the unconnected end of each tube.

12.  Locate the NKT that feed the top or center spill in the Top Spiller and connect it to one leg of the “T” in Step 10,

securing it with a hose clamp. This hose should be the closest connection to the pump so that there is maximum flow
provided to the center spiller, as this will provide the most pleasing water action.

13.  Connect the 6" piece of NKT to the other leg of the “T” from Step 10 and secure with a hose clamp.

14.  Connect the second “T” to the end of the NKT from the previous step and secure with a hose clamp.

15.  Connect the remaining two pieces of NKT from the Top Spiller the open legs of the “T” from Step 13 and secure with

hose clamps.

16.  Fill your fountain with water. We recommend that you fill the basin to approximately 1' from the top. After you have

sufficient water to cover the pump, you may test the system by connecting the pump to a GFI protected 110V circuit.
After you have checked the operation of your Rock Fall Fountain and are satisfied with it’s operation, place the 6889A
Pump Cover Door in the Basin and locate it so that it conceals the pump and it’s NKT connections.

17.  Your fountain is now ready to operate, sit back and enjoy the sight and sound of the flowing water.
