Remove the secondary air cleaner element
(4).
•
Remove the secondary air filter cover (3).
•
Wash the secondary air cleaner element in
clean, nonflammable or high flash point
solvent and let it dry thoroughly.
•
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
•
Soak the secondary air cleaner element in
gear oil (SAE-90) until saturated, then
squeeze out the excess oil.
CAUTION
!
!
Never use gasoline or low flash point solvents
for cleaning the air cleaner element. A fire or
explosion could result.
