Operating personnel requirements
The DancerPlus, as well as other devices connected to it within the system (such as the vacuum pump or cold
trap), may only be operated and serviced by personnel of the legal minimum age who have been instructed on
how to do so. Personnel who are being trained, taught, instructed, are undergoing general training or are part of
an internship programme may only carry out work on the device while under constant supervision from an
experienced person. Repair and maintenance work may only be carried out by electricians authorised by the
manufacturer. The specifications in the separate service manual must be observed.

Responsibility of the owner
The owner of the DancerPlus
•
is responsible for the perfect functioning order of the DancerPlus and its system devices such as the
vacuum pump and, if required, the cold trap (description in the pertinent operating instructions), as well
as ensuring that the DancerPlus is used for its intended purpose (as described in chapter 1.2)
•
is responsible for ensuring that personnel who operate the DancerPlus alone or in the system or those
who are meant to service it have the required qualifications, have been properly trained on how to
operate the device alone or in the system and have familiarised themselves with these operating
instructions
•
must be aware of its applicable regulations, guidelines and health and safety specifications and instruct
personnel accordingly
•
is responsible for ensuring that unauthorised persons are prevented from accessing the DancerPlus and
its system
•
is responsible for ensuring that the maintenance plan is adhered to and all maintenance work is carried
out correctly and professionally
•
is responsible for ensuring that operating personnel wear the correct personal protective equipment,
e.g. protective gloves, goggles etc. as well as guaranteeing order and cleanliness at the DancerPlus,
alone and in the system as well as within its surroundings, through corresponding instruction and
supervision
•
is responsible for ensuring that the DancerPlus and other system devices are not subjected to any
unauthorised modifications, e.g. improper adjustment of the calibration/offset values. Any parts which
have not been authorised or approved by the manufacturer may not be attached or installed.
Unauthorised modifications result in the CE conformity being voided, and the DancerPlus as well
as its system devices must not continue to be operated in such a situation
The manufacturer or authorised supplier shall not be liable for any damage, hazards or injuries,
nor any subsequent costs incurred due to operational failures or treatment directly related to any
unauthorised modifications or non-observance of the guidelines in this manual.
