Rack and shaking plate

Disassemble the rack from the shaking plate and spray it with disinfectant, or place it in mild, soapy water. Then,
rinse the rack off under running water and allow it to dry.

Clean the shaking plate and its feet (Fig. 1 no. 1) using a cloth or rag moistened with mild, soapy water.

Pay particular attention to the O-rings (Fig 1. No. 2) of the feet; deposits or wear on the O-rings
may impede the shaking drive, or completely block it. If the shaking drive is imp

eded, the drive’s

service life will be reduced. Replace the O-rings if required.

Also pay attention to the slight foot elevations (Fig. 1 no. 3); these must be clean and present.
The  elevations  are  subject  to  normal  abrasion  and  wear,  and  the  feet  must  be  replaced  if  so
required. These are available as a set; contact the manufacturer or the authorised supplier.
Never place or immerse the shaking plate in liquid (e.g. for cleaning), as this  may  destroy the
magnets and ball bearings in the feet.

When using the FAST option:

Clean the O-rings and the rack pins (Fig. 2 no. 4 and no. 5), check the O-rings for brittleness and
cracks,  and  replace  them  if  required.  After  cleaning,  lubricate  the  O-rings  with  the  supplied
lubricating  grease,  4051,  and  check  their  functioning.  Remove  any  leftover  grease  with  a  dry,
clean  cloth.  Clean  the  special  holes  (Fig.  4  no.  3)  on  the  rack.  All  grease  deposits  and  any
encrustations must be removed in order to ensure easier, quicker handling.

3.2

Repair and maintenance

For  safety  reasons,  we  recommend  that  the  DancerPlus  undergoes  yearly  maintenance  by  an  authorised
technician. This will include the device interior being cleaned, all wearing parts and safety elements being checked
(and replaced if required), and a safety measurement being carried out. The DancerPlus and its system devices
will also be tested for correct functioning.

Repair and service work is described in a separate service manual and may only be carried out
by authorised technicians.

If repairs or maintenance by an authorised technician are required, the DancerPlus and its system
devices must be properly disinfected and decontaminated beforehand. The technician must be
made  aware  of  any  potential  residual  risks,  and  suitable  protective  measures  must  be  made
available.
