Potentiometer for electrical
zero setting of the pointer
Before you start measuring with your TESA NI-
VELTRONIC, make sure the indication is proper-
ly set according to the instructions that follow.
1. Mechanical zero setting of the pointer
with the level switched off
2. Display setting through a reversal
measurement
3. Electrical zero setting of the pointer
When setting the display, it is important to
proceed in the aforesaid step order.
The indication must be set at regular intervals,
but in any case after the electronic level was
not in use for a long time or exposed to severe
impact. If corrections are needed, proceed as
follows.

Warning
Because of their construction, the TESA NIVEL-
TRONIC are very sensitive to shocks. Therefore,
they should never be abruptly placed on a sur-
face or suffer bad knocks.
When the instrument is switched off, the pointer
should be aligned to the zero line of the ana-
logue indication providing it is placed on a flat
and horizontal surface.
3.1 Mechanical zero setting of the pointer
Any deviation from zero can be corrected with the
aid of a screwdriver (see drawing in chapter 2).
