– To extend the battery life, keep your level
switched off when not in use.
– To protect the iron measuring faces against
possible corrosion, lightly lubricate them with
grease.
– To avoid damages, store your level in a safe
and dry place and protect it with the storage
case that came with your instrument.
Cover of the battery unit
The TESA NIVELTRONIC are powered by 4 stan-
dard batteries, type LR 03 (AAA).
For the models previously delivered, special bat-
teries were provided that are no longer available.
In the future, the optional
holder with built-in
voltage regulator along with one battery set
(No. 03160048) can be used.
Checking the batteries is performed by posi-
tioning the relevant switch to "Batt." (see in the
drawing under chapter 2). As long as the pointer
remains on the right of the black dot, the battery
charge is sufficient. If the pointer is on the left,
the batteries need to be replaced.
Remove the cover on the back side of the level
by turning it fully to the left, then release the
battery unit.
Insert the new batteries respecting the positive
and the negative pole and replace both the bat-
tery unit and the cover by turning it fully to the
right.
