Cleaning and
maintenance
For cleaning and maintenance, follow the general
safety rules below:
– All work must be carried out by a trained and au-
thorised specialist.
a) Switch off the device before starting work and
disconnect the power plug.
b) Wear suitable personal protective equipment.
c) Before restarting the dehumidifier, install all
safety devices as attached at the factory.
d) Check that the safety devices are working
properly.
e) After completing the tasks, remove all tools and
objects from the working area around the de-
vice.
DANGER
Danger to life due to electric shock
Touching electrically live parts can be fatal.
a) Switch off the device and pull out the mains
plug.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to inadvertent start-up
Uncontrolled start-up of the fan can lead to injury.
a) Switch off the device at the ON/OFF switch and
disconnect the power plug.
CAUTION
Risk of injury from not wearing personal
protective equipment
When cleaning and maintaining the device, you
may injure yourself on sharp edges, or through in-
haling or coming into contact with toxic substances.
a) Wear protective gloves and respiratory protec-
tion.
