8.5.2
Make sure that the area around the filter is clean
to prevent contamination of the hydraulic oil.
1. Switch off the hydraulic system and release
the filter of pressure.
2. Clean the immediate surrounding area of
the filter.
3. Remove the cover.
4. Remove the filter cartridge with attached
filter housing by using the handle.
5. Examine the surface of the filter cartridge
for dirt residue and larger particles; these
can indicate damage to the components.
6. Examine the filter housing for any possible
mechanical damage.
7. Replace the filter cartridge with a new one.
8. Remove old O-rings and replace (oil before
assembling).
9. Place the filter cartridge carefully into the
filter housing and screw. Pay attention to
the position of the handle.
10. Install the filter cartridge with attached
filter housing.
11. Refit the cover.
12. Replace the breathing filter in the filler
cap.
13. Switch on hydraulic system and check the
filter for leakage.
