REGARDING ENVIRONMENT AND
CONDITIONS OF USE
This tool operates on oil pressure.
When used during the winter season or in cold conditions
the hydraulic oil’s viscosity will excessively rise to dull the
tool’s operation.
In such cases, run the tool through a warm-up operation
prior to use.
How to run a warm-up operation
Without setting up a rebar, switch on the tool and let it
continuously run for 30 to 60 seconds.
WARNING
Do not place your hands in the vicinity of the piston
during warm-up operation.
Depending on the environment and conditions of use, the
hydraulics may heat up (over 50°C). This can lower the
viscosity of the hydraulic oil and reduce its cutting power.
If this occurs, allow the tool to cool down and then resume
operation.
