The fasteners on the spreader shaft subassembly (A) are tight, and it is not
bent or warped.

Tighten any loose connections. If the spreader shaft
subassembly (A) is bent or warped, replace it (refer to procedure
4.6). If this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page
2-9. If not, continue with step 5.
5. Inspect the tie rod assemblies (B).
The tie rod assemblies are firmly connected to the spreader shaft
subassembly (A) and both leg subassemblies (C).

Tighten any loose connections, and test the spreader bar action.
If this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-9. If
not, continue with step 6.
6. Both tire rods are straight.
