Adjustments
7.6.1
Steering Column Chain
The steering wheel should be adjusted when there is too much
clearance between the chain that acts on the pinion connected to
the steering bar of the steering wheel and the sprocket mounted
on the front wheel.
Remove the front Cover. Loosen the adjusting screws of the chain
tensioner bracket and the screws that fix the lower flange of the
steering shaft.
Once the optimal tension has been identified, tighten the nuts
and the adjustment screws.
Refit the front Cover.
7.6.2
Steering Chain (Plus)
Remove the front carter.
Remove the display and the steering wheel.
Loosen the four screws of the lower crown.
Block the square nut with a wrench and tighten the threaded bar
until the chain is in a medium tension.
Tighten the lower crown screws.
