WARNING
Crush-injury hazard during loading and unloading.
There is a risk of crush injuries occurring when the
Jaibot is being loaded and unloaded and when the transport box is being crane-lifted.
▶
When loading the Jaibot and when crane-lifting the transport box, make sure that there is no-one in the
work zone or inside the slewing zone of the crane.
▶
Keep the work zone and the slewing zone free of obstacles and make sure that the entire zone is brightly
illuminated.
▶
Wear a hard hat and protective gloves.
1. Open the doors of the transport box.
2. Disengage the transport locks of the ramps and swing the ramps down into position.
3. Disengage the straps and stow the straps in the compartments provided for the purpose.
4. Unscrew the turnbuckles and stow them in the compartments in the doors.
5. Switch the drilling robot on. → page 37
6. Maneuver the Jaibot down the ramps and clear of the transport box.
Select the slow speed.
7. Raise the ramps and secure them in the transport locks.
8. Close the doors of the transport box.
7.1.2 System check before starting work
Check of the controls
• Before starting work, always check all the controls of the wireless remote control to make sure that
everything is in full working order.
Operate the controls one after the other to check all the functions and make sure that the system's
reaction is correct in each case.
For the positions of the controls see the overview of the wireless remote control.

Visual inspection
1. Check the Jaibot for visible damage.
2. Check that all signs are present and legible.

• Make sure that the base on which the equipment is to operate is of adequate strength to support the
weight.
