Inspecting the
signal line of
PCU wire har-
ness (lower
side) for short
circuit 2
1. Disconnect the HV ECU1 con-
nector.
2. For the 2nd terminal of inverter
cooling pump connector,
inspect the signal line of PCU
wire harness (lower side) for
short circuit. (See "Inspecting
the PCU harness signal line for
short circuit.")

Replace the
PCU wire har-

side).
Replace the
inverter cool-
ing pump.
After replace-
ment, go to
step 6.

Reproduction
check [HINO-
DX]
1. Connect all the connectors that
have been disconnected to
restore the system.
2. Set the starter key to the "ON"
position.
3. Clear the malfunction history.
4. Perform a test run. (For 1 min-
utes at the vehicle speed of 30
km/h or more)
5. Set the starter key to the
"LOCK" position and wait for 1
minute.
6. Perform a test run. (For 1 min-
utes at the vehicle speed of 30
km/h or more)
7. Set the starter key to the "ON"
position.
8. In [Fault Information] on the
diagnosis tool screen, check if
P0C73-80 is detected.
DTC P0C73-
80 is detected:
Go to YES.
DTC P0C73-
80 is not
detected: Go
to NO.
Replace the
HV ECU.
The inspec-
tion is com-
pleted.
