Inspecting the
continuity of
PCU wire har-
ness (lower
side)
1. Disconnect the HV ECU3 con-
nector.
2. Using the electrical tester, mea-
sure the resistance between
the lower-side connector of
PCU harness (24P) and the HV
ECU3 connector terminal.
<Measurement conditions>
Starter key: LOCK

Inspecting the
PCU wire har-

side) for short
circuit
1. Using the electrical tester, mea-
sure the resistance between
the lower-side connector termi-
nals of PCU harness (24P).
2. Using the electrical tester, mea-
sure the resistance between
the lower-side connector 18th
terminal of PCU harness (24P)
and the ground.

Inspecting the
engine ECU
[HINO-DX]
1. Connect the diagnosis tool
(HINO-DX) to the vehicle.
2. Set the starter key to the "ON"
position.
3. Select [Engine] on the diagno-
sis tool screen.
4. In [Fault Information], check if
any DTC related to the vehicle
speed signal system is
detected.
DTC is
detected from
the engine
ECU: Go to
YES.
DTC is not
detected from
the engine
ECU: Go to
NO.
Inspect the
combination
meter.
Go to step 7.
