Reading the
DTC [HINO-
DX]
1. Set the starter key to the
"LOCK" position.
2. Connect the diagnosis tool
(HINO-DX) to the vehicle.
3. Set the starter key to the "ON"
position.
4. In [Fault Information] on the
diagnosis tool screen, check if
any of the following DTC other
than P03AC-34 is detected:
•
P0A01, P0A02, P0A03,
P0A06, P0A07, P0A93,
P0C73, P3128, P3129,
P314C, P314D
DTC other
than P03AC-
34 is detected:
Go to YES.
DTC other
than P03AC-
34 is not
detected: Go
to NO.
Perform trou-
bleshooting for
each of related
DTC.
Go to step 2.
2
Inspecting the
inverter radia-
tor
1. Remove the bottom cover of
the PCU.
2. Check the inverter radiator,
inverter cooling radiator fan,
and the hose for water leakage
or clogging.
3. Check that the coolant level is
appropriate.
Defect is
found: Go to
YES.
Defect is not
found: Go to
NO.
Repair or
replace the
defective part.
After repair or
replacement,
add coolant
and go to step
3.
Go to step 3.
3
Inspecting the
inverter cool-
ing radiator fan
1
1. Set the starter key to the "ON"
position.
2. Check the operating sound of
inverter cooling radiator fan.
Operating
sound is
checked: Go
to YES.
Operating
sound is not
checked: Go
to NO.
Go to step 4.
Replace the
inverter cool-
ing radiator
fan. After
replacement,
go to step 4.
4
Inspecting the
voltage of 12 V
battery
1. Set the starter key to the "ON"
position.
2. Disconnect the connector of
PCU harness (24P).
3. Using the electrical tester, mea-
sure the voltage between the
terminals of PCU harness
(24P) vehicle connector.
<Measurement conditions>
Starter key: ON
<Tester connections>
PCU harness (24P) vehicle con-
nector
2nd terminal – 16th terminal
<Standard values>
10 – 16 V
The mea-
sured value is
within the
range of stan-
dard value: Go
to YES.
The mea-
sured value is
not within the
range of stan-
dard value: Go
to NO.
Go to step 5.
Inspect the 12
V battery and
charge or
replace if nec-
essary. When
the battery is
normal,
inspect the
vehicle wire
harness (12 V
power supply
circuit).
