Inspecting the
resolver (sen-
sor)
1. Set the starter key to the
"LOCK" position.
2. Disconnect the resolver con-
nector.
3. Using the electrical tester, mea-
sure the resistance between
the terminals of resolver con-
nector.

Starter key: LOCK
<Tester connections>
Resolver connector
(1) 8th terminal – 4th terminal
(2) 6th terminal – 2nd terminal
(3) 7th terminal – 3rd terminal
<Standard values>
(All are equivalent to ambient
temperature 25 °C {77 °F}.)
(1) 7.2 ± 1.44
(2) 26.8 ± 5.36
(3) 28.5 ± 5.7
