ROUBLESHOOTING
To ensure a long and optimum working life of the forklift, do not disassemble it
unless strictly necessary. If the following troubleshooting instructions are not suffi‑
cient to restore the forklift to normal operation, contact an authorised

ler.
The engine does not start
• Is there enough fuel?
• Is there enough oil in the engine?
• Is the spark plug sparking?
a. Remove the lead from the spark plug.
Clean any traces of dirt from the bottom of the spark plug, then remove the
spark plug.
b. Connect the lead to the spark plug.
c. Move the engine switch to ON.
d. Earth the side electrode and pull the starter to check that there are sparks
between the electrodes.

: if there are fuel leaks, check that the area is dry before checking the
spark plug or starting the engine. Petrol fumes or fuel leaks may catch fire.
